My husband enjoys this "less than awesome" store . We actually go there pretty often. The store carries all sorts of things he needs on a regular basis for work and have, probably, the best prices around.
I usually just sit in the car while he runs in and gets what he needs. This time I decided to go in.
Bribing me with cheap paint brushes actually worked. He wasn't kidding. I can buy paint brushed there for $4!! Good ones. After filling up my buggy with much needed paint brushes (I'm not one to clean out my brushes, I just throw them away after using....I know....I know...)
I glanced around at what might catch my eye.
I looked and thought to myself, "hhmmm look at that fabric. It looks identical to the fabric I have picked out for my sofa." I grabbed up this bulky package . Ran to my husband ,asking," Doesn't this look EXACTLY like the fabric for the sofa" Thinking maybe I was delusional from wandering ENDLESSLY around this lethargic inducing store.
He said,"yup, sure does."
Nuff said for me!
Are you kidding me? I found the fabric I needed to cover my couch for only $30???? Really?
Sure did. What was originally going to cost me well over a hundred bucks....I got for around $30. aaahhh...I love this store.
Giggle.

Beautiful job -- you have to love that camel back shape! I've done a sofa and have to put a seat cover and skirt on my chair -- it's worth it -- you can wash the heck out of them and they just get better with age. Congrats on a great redo!
Wow just came across you from The Polka Dot chair...wow this is just one amazing re-do!! I think you really should show us a tutorial on this! You have totally motivated me. I love it!! I need to know how you did the skirt. I love the pleats and I need to know some tricks in making the pleats. I made something recently and just eyeballed it....it turned out cute but I am sure there is a better way.
